Quality Info

2D and Drawing Portfolios will physically mail in 5 pieces that represent their best pieces and strongest work in their category.

2D Design- "Five works that demonstrate your mastery of design — apparent in the composition,
concept, and execution of the works."

Drawing- "Five actual works that demonstrate mastery of drawing — apparent in the composition, concept, and execution of the work."

Part of your exam fee pays for portfolios to be sent to CG for your use. We ship them the college board by the due date in May, and they return the portfolio to your home in July.

On the "exam" day, all AP students will gather to itemize, label the five pieces and prepare these portfolios.

Things to note:
You can not send more than five, but you can send less than five (this will hurt your score).
You do not have to window mount, but it does make the work look better.
Your work can not be larger than 18 x 24" and smaller than 8 x 10".
Your work should be on a firm backing, not loose paper or canvas, but you can not send in stretched canvas.
When you send your work in to the College Board, you may not have it at your showcase (depending when scheduled) and you will not have it for Odyssey. :(

3D Quality Portfolios are photographic as you can not send in three dimensional work!  Your Quality will be done on the digital portfolio online.
